"Environ" floating aerators incorporate design features which optimize Mixing, Oxygen Transfer, Hydraulic Efficiency. The top diffusion head is designed to change the direction of the effluent flowing at very high velocity, from Vertical to Horizontal with minimum frictional losses, providing proper balance of velocity and volume, with low profile discharge, transferring maximum kinetic energy.
In case of change in effluent BOD Loading or in Mixing requirements, the "ENVIRON" aerators being of floating design, can be very easily repositioned in the aeration ponds. This allows additional Units of the same size HP Rating or increased size to be added quickly and easily and economically. This adoptability is not equally possible with fixed type surface Aerators.

Without carrying out any Civil Modification of the aeration Pond, Supplementary Oxygen Source can be provided by these aerators to upgrade the existing industrial and Municipal diffused Aeration Treatment Plants.

Mixing efficiency is increased by properly and scientifically selecting the location of the aerators in each tank. The BOD of the effluent is scientifically reduced by taking advantage of tapered aeration.
